INoVA Hub

A ZonMw MKMD project.

The INoVA hub project has been funded by the ZonMW program More Knowledge with Fewer Animals | ZonMw. This program encourages the development of new animal-free models and the acceptance and implementation of existing animal-free research methods. Where that is not (yet) possible, more effective use of results from animal experiments is pursued. By illuminating the full landscape of screening models, animal-based and animal-free, the INoVA supports the MKMD program in its goals.

Broader perspective

Our goal is to have the INoVA hub adopted by students, educators, and early-career scientists in addition to seasoned professionals. By building awareness of the availability of alternatives, and making those alternatives searchable and documented, they are more likely to be used.
